MEDICAL APPLICATIONS

Rapid Prototyping technology allows to reproduce with high fidelity and sub-millimetric accuracy every anatomical part, scanned through CT (Computer Tomography) or MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging).

The images thus obtained are used for the three-dimensional reconstruction of the anatomical context, that is then reproduced through the stereolithography apparatus.

In this way, in a few hours, thanks to the service offered by MarMax, in collaboration with the University of Udine, the doctor/surgeon has at disposal an exact copy of the patient anatomy.
