FROM REAL OBJECTS TO VIRTUAL MODELS

Reverse Engineering is the process that allows to obtain a 3D CAD model directly from a real object, which can be a handicraft model, a product which drawings are lost, a natural object, a work of art, etc.

MarMax uses a five axis anthropomorhic arm (Baces 3D),designed for detecting profiles and surfaces of a large variety of parts.

Instead, when the real object is very complex or it cannot be touched, MarMax provides an acquisition service by means of an optical scanner, which takes a series of 3D pictures of the part and semiautomatically reconstructs its volume.
