If the first prototype has been tested and validated but you are not yet ready for mass production, or if your business consists in special productions in small quantities, MarMax offers you the possibility to obtain a pre-series of a few tens or hundreds of pieces using quick silicon molds with the vacuum casting technique.
With these molds, we produce parts in plastic or rubber, by means of polyurethanes, which have the same mechanical and aesthetic characteristics of the thermoplastic materials used in traditional injection molding production. With the same technique, we can also produce wax patterns for casting.
The pieces can also be co-moulded with metal inserts and bushings, or with different materials (e.g. plastic and rubber). All the details of the various materials are available in the Technologies section, where you can also find a complete guide to vacuum casting.
